RECREATION CLUB

WHY ONLY KIDS CAN HAVE FUN...................

Recreation is a means of enjoyable relaxation for the teachers at Ahlcon. The idea of Recreation Club was conceived and implemented by Headmistress.


The club comprises of members of Primary & Pre-Primary staff who get together once in a month to spend quality time with each other for extending warm wishes on birthdays and celebrating festivals together.
The club provides its members opportunities to participate in fun events, socialize and relax.

Not only this, it gives teachers a platform to showcase their talent and share experience with each other. It is the sharing of experiences which gives them feeling of enjoyment and satisfaction and above all a source of learning.

The club members enjoy the activities, relish the delicacies and interact with each other.

The club celebrated Christmas and New Year on 24th December and bid farewell to the 2016 and welcomed 2017 which brings new hopes and aspirations. The members had a gala time and were given beautiful gift hampers. 







GLITERRING MOMENTS OF EXHIBITION




A magnificent and reverberating exhibition on theme – ltx ukxfjdle) lekt was organised by Ahlcon International School in the school premises on 17th and 18th December 2016 amidst great zest, vibrance and elation. The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Hon’ble Chief Guest Mr Manish Sisodia – Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi and Guest of Honour – Mr Rajiv Chandran – National Information Officer, on 17th Dec. 2016 and Ms Chanchal Yadav, Secretary NDMC on 18th Dec. 2016, President- Mr Bikramjit Ahluwalia, Chairperson – Dr Rohini Ahluwalia, School Principal and Headmistress, Middle & Senior Section Incharges also graced the occasion with their esteemed presence.







Distinguished guests, elite guardians and Parents attended the function. 
The entire programme revolved around the theme stemming from the statement ‘I am a Good Citizen’. It was an amalgamation of various hues and students tried to spread the awareness about sustainable future.





The school student and teachers choir group enthralled the audience with the soulful rendition of the music and gave a beautiful message to the audience.






The Chief Guest Mr. Manish Sisodia viewed imparting quality education of children has always been a challenge. He added that students should not only be imparted excellent education but also be given great scruples and values so they can effectively serve their nation. He shared with the gathering about the ‘Reading Melas’ and appealed all to join this good initiative. He highly lauded the school’s initiative for grooming students to have Indian Cultural roots and Global Eminence.








He expressed his great elation for having visited the school and informed the gathering that he always enjoys and makes it a point to visit such children programmes as they are the future of the country.


Madam Chanchal Yadav applauded the school for its novel idea which would help the world to become a much better place to live in.                 She motivated and inspired the students to believe in themselves and excel in everything. She also encouraged the students to adopt a hobby and pursue it for a lifetime.
  





The exhibition tried to engage children and teachers to synergies  experiences and motivate each other for sustainable future.

The informative and attractive exhibits put by all the students were eye-catching and a reflection of their Creativity and talent. The visitors surveyed the entire exhibition with awe and wonder. The installations were highly praised for their innovative nature and aesthetic appeal.
It was able to generate tremendous interest among the visitors.
The joy of students in highlighting their models and exhibits were whole heartedly appreciated by all the parents. It had taken many-days of hard work by the participating students to put it up and it seemed to have paid off rather well, so everybody was visibly impressed by it.
The entire show was planned, conducted and co-ordinated by the students and teachers under the mentoring and guidance of School Principal,  Headmistress and Middle & Senior Section Incharges.
The days ended with every glittering star carrying a feel of happiness and achievement within itself.










We believe that celebration is an occasion for enjoyment as well as a mode to inculcate moral values, for intellectual creativity and realization of social responsibilities.



We express our sincere thanks and heartfelt gratitude to all our students, parents and management of our school without whose help we would not have been in a position to exhibit this programme. 

DASTANGOI STORY SESSION

A day spent listening to stories is a well spent day.

Who doesn't love to listen to a story?

A small child or a young adult or and old man ,
all love a good story.

The students of classes III to V got a wonderful opportunity to hear and enjoy stories when they attended  a "Dastangoi Story Session " organized in school on 23rd November’16 .

The word Dastangoi refers to the art of storytelling, it is a compound of two persian words dastan and goi which means to tell a Dastan . 

Dastans ever epics,often oral in nature which were recited or read aloud. Telling tales of adventure , magic and warfare , Dastan mapped new worlds and horizons , encountered the unseen and protected the heros through many travails . In this session madam fouzie a,renowned dastango regaled the children with wonderful tales about animals and people.Her story  "chabban chachu" took the children into the 16th century world .

 The mannerisms and the dialect of 16th century was the essence of her story and were greatly enjoyed by children. Even after the session children were reciting her songs which they heard during the session. Children had a wonderful time listening and enjoying stories. They did not want the session to end and were left wanting for more.
