FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT

Formative Evaluation is conducted on regular basis to help children develop spirit of discovery and reflective thinking.It helps students to learn through exploration and hands on experience.Different activities are done during routine class to check if students have clarity of taught concept,spirit of enquiry etc.To develop critical thinking in students and analytical and reasoning skills activities like collecting information on games and making a presentation of it was done.


In EVS collaboration and team work activities like enactment of different organs of digestive,respiratory etc. systems were done.They spoke about the functions of the organs too.These types of activities help students in learning skills from each other by mutual cooperation.In social awareness and project work students collected information from internet and other sources.

 In the formative assessment in EVS we conduct role play, model making or making things best out of waste. Children are evaluated in a non formal way and without any stress. They enjoy doing these activities .Children enjoy learning in fun ways.
